Washington: A federal Aviation Administration employee has been charged for threatening to assassinate President Donld Trump. The prosecutors at the US Attorney’s office, Hampshire on Tuesday declared the charges following his arrest on Monday.
As per statements by the prosecutors, the 35-year-old suspect Dean DelleChiaie who worked as a contractor for the FAA sent a threatening email to the US President. On being questioned about his attempts, the former FAA contractor stated he was upset with Trump administration on multiple subjects including the presidential election, presidential pardons and the “Epstein files” relating to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein
“I, Dean DelleChiaie, am going neutralize/kill you – Donald John Trump – because you decided to kill kids – and say that it was War – when in reality – it is terrorism,” DelleChiaie allegedly wrote on April 21. “God knows your actions and where you belong, the message read.
Investigation revealed the FAA suspended mechanical engineer used his office computer to make searches involving assassination attempts. The officers added that probe revealed the suspect also searched for the location of Vice President JD Vance’s home and the names and ages of his children, and the location of Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth’s home and the names and ages of his children.
In an affidavit, the Secret Service said the White House received the email on April 21 that appeared to come from DelleChiaie.
