Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set make his debut at the prestigious Met Gala event. The news surfaced after renowned designer Manish Malhotra during his interaction with the media reporters revealed the big news.
“This time I’m gonna be designing for a very big director who’s known for his fashion and movies, Karan Johar…There’s gonna be a lot more coming up on the red carpet… let’s wait and watch,” he said.

Given by his longstanding Bollywood career, fans are eagerly waiting for Karan Johars Met Gala debut on May 4th. This years theme for Met Galais ‘Costume Art’ and the dress code is ‘Fashion is Art’ it remains to see how the filmmaker, renowned for his maximalist aesthetic and unabashedly daring attire, will sport his distinctive look on the red carpet.
Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour will co-chair the event, while Lisa will serve on the host committee.
