Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a young batsman who has proven to be one of the most daring young batters in the IPL to play against some of the best pacers in the world with a lot of confidence. At the age of 15, he has destroyed bowlers such as Jasprit Bumrah, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh with vicious intentions. He is a straightforward man, but a man who hits hard, who will not be afraid of his name, because he reads the ball early, follows his feeling and devotes the whole of his energy to attack strokes.

Nevertheless, the next test might be his hardest one as he is sure to meet Mitchell Starc in the next match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. Starc is an experienced match-winner who introduces something new in his speed, swings, and enormous experience. Starc is still one of the most threatening bowlers in white-ball cricket having featured so prominently in the title-winning campaign of Kolkata Knight Riders in 2024 and still continuing to do so with Delhi Capitals.

Even though Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has excelled in pace left-arm, there is also one weakness that is evident in his performances. He has hit fast against bowlers such as Khaleel Ahmed and Trent Boult and even overpowered Arshdeep Singh. But bowling has been a bother to him. Mohsin Khan demonstrated that he could create pressure and force errors by different lengths and keeping tight lines.

This match may prove decisive in the next contest–whether the accuracy of Starc can interfere with the rhythm of Sooryavanshi, or the young hitter proceeds his fearless supremacy.
