The Hoshiarpur district police have achieved a major success. The police team has arrested individuals who had been actively promoting crime in the state for a long time. This gang was involved in a variety of criminal activities.
Hoshiarpur district police have reportedly busted an interstate/foreign drug and illegal weapons racket and arrested four suspects. A significant quantity of drugs and weapons, including 9.925 kg of heroin, two foreign-made pistols, eight magazines, and 40 live cartridges, were recovered from them.
Initial investigations revealed that the accused were acting as local handlers for gangsters based abroad and were involved in drug trafficking and illegal arms supply. An FIR has been registered in this case at the Garhshankar police station in Hoshiarpur.
