US-Iran Ceasefire: A fragile two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran has brought a temporary halt to the missile strikes and drone attacks in the Middle East. US President Donald Trump has announced the ceasefire.

The two countries reached an agreement on the ceasefire just a few hours before the expiry of Donald Trump’s 48-hour deadline. He had warned of a major attack on Iran and destroying its entire civilization. After a 40-day war, a two-week ceasefire has been agreed upon between the US and Iran. Iran has also agreed to open the Strait of Hormuz. Under the agreement, the US and Israel will stop their attacks. Iran will also stop its attacks. During this period, the safe movement of oil, gas and other ships through the Strait of Hormuz will be ensured with the help of the Iranian army.
