Jagdalpur. Security forces have achieved a major success in Bijapur district. The 85th Battalion of the CRPF, operating as part of an anti-Naxal operation, has recovered two Naxalite dumps. The operation was carried out in the dense forests of Peddajojer and Lendra in the Gangaluur police station area, where the joint team discovered the Naxalite hidden material during a search operation.
The recovered dump contained a large quantity of weapons and explosives, including .303 rifles, Sten guns, BGL rounds, detonators, gelatin, and wire. According to security forces, this material was hidden by Naxalites with the intention of carrying out a major attack, and was seized in time.
