Bhopal. The Madhya Pradesh government is about to provide a significant convenience to the general public. Now, family members will no longer need to stand in long lines at hospitals or make repeated trips to obtain birth certificates. The government is implementing a new digital model for birth certificates across the state. Under this new system, birth certificates will be available at home via WhatsApp within just seven days.

It’s worth noting that this facility is currently only available at Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal, and it’s receiving a good response there. Now, the government has decided to expand it to the entire state of Madhya Pradesh.
Key benefits of the new system
- The entire process of making birth certificate will become completely digital.
- Family members will no longer need to go to the hospital for repeated follow-ups or stand in long queues.
- The certificate will be available on WhatsApp within 7 days of birth.
- The process will be simple, fast and transparent.
This new initiative is expected to provide significant relief, especially to parents of newborns. Until now, obtaining a birth certificate required multiple hospital visits, and the process was time-consuming. The new model will eliminate this hassle. The government says this step is another important initiative in Digital India. Once implemented, the birth registration process will become more streamlined in all government and private hospitals across the state.
