Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will be on a visit to Bilaspur district today. Before the visit, he will perform the ground breaking ceremony of various development works in the Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation area through a virtual program from the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur and will gift many development works to the city. After this, the Chief Minister will leave for Bilaspur from Raipur at 1 pm. In Takhatpur of Bilaspur district, he will perform cow worship, inspect the arrangements and also interact with the villagers.
At 3 p.m., he will launch the “Gaudham Yojana” from Bilaspur and also attend the Animal Husbandry Conference. Following the programs, the Chief Minister will return from Bilaspur to Raipur at 5 p.m. After attending the “Aadi Parb 2026” program in Nava Raipur at 6 p.m., he will depart for the Chief Minister’s residence in Nava Raipur.
Under this scheme, 29 Gaudhams will be inaugurated in the state. The state government has set a big target for the protection of nomadic and destitute cattle. Under this, preparations are being made to establish 1460 Gaudhams across the state. Arrangements will be made to keep around 200 cattle in each Gaudham, so that their protection and care can be improved.
Temporary stoppage of 10 express trains at Dongargarh on Navratri
The railways have made special arrangements for the convenience of devotees arriving at Maa Bamleshwari Temple Dongargarh during Chaitra Navratri. The railways will provide temporary halt to 10 express trains at Dongargarh station from 19th to 27th March. According to the railways, during this period Bilaspur-Bhagat Ki Kothi, Bhagat Ki Kothi-Bilaspur, Bilaspur-Bikaner, Bikaner-Bilaspur, Bilaspur-Chennai, Chennai-Bilaspur, Bilaspur-Pune, Pune-Bilaspur, Raipur-Secunderabad and Secunderabad-Raipur express trains will have temporary halt at Dongargarh station.
Additionally, for the convenience of passengers, the Gondia-Durg MEMU train has been extended to Raipur, and the Raipur-Dongargarh MEMU train has been extended to Gondia. Additionally, a MEMU special train will be operated between Dongargarh and Durg, ensuring that pilgrims do not face any difficulties during their journey.
