The Chhattisgarh Assembly Budgetary Session had been projected to the seventh day on Monday and various key issues were set to be debated in the House. Debates on various issues that may be in form of questions by legislators, attention motions, demand of grants by the department and presentation of reports and petitions are likely to be experienced in the proceedings.

The Question Hour will see the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister of Vishnu Deo Sai respond to questions that are brought up by the Assembly members along with other ministers such as Kedar Kashyap and Tank Ram Verma. Law-makers are supposed to consult explanations regarding various matters on governance and development.

The attention motions are also tabled by a number of MLAs which might result in an in-depth debate in the House. Ajay Chandrakar, Dharamjit Singh and Dharamlal Kaushik will create issues pertaining to the issues involving the Smart City undertakings in the state. Their movement will probably revolve around the implementation, operation and issues relating to the initiative.

In the meantime, an attention motion concerning the revenue and expenditure of the Sirpur Mahotsav is likely to be brought up by MLA Dwarakadhish Yadav, who wants transparency when it comes to the financial handling of the cultural festival.

A House- Assembly Speaker Amar Agarwal will present such committee reports. More so, petitions will be presented by the MLA Sheshraj Harvansh, Ambika Markam and Sandeep Sahu.

It will also be discussed in the session about the grant demands of the departments led by Deputy Chief Manager Vijay Sharma and ministers Dayal Das Baghel and Rajesh Agarwal which may cause intra-member discussion to extend further.
