Pakistani security forces have killed 15 terrorists in two separate operations in Balochistan province. This information has been given by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani Army. The army said that intelligence about the presence of terrorists was received on Thursday. Following this, the Pakistani army launched operations (IBOs). The army carried out the first operation in Harnai district of Balochistan province.

The army said that during the operation, troops effectively attacked a “Khawarij” hideout and killed 12 terrorists after a fierce exchange of fire. A cache of weapons was also recovered from the terrorists.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan

The Pakistan government notified the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in 2024 as “Fitna al-Khawarij,” a reference to a group from earlier Islamic history that engaged in violence.

Meanwhile, in another intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Basima district, security forces tracked the presence of terrorists. Using mixed-caliber weapons, the army effectively engaged them. The army stated that three terrorists were killed in the second operation after a fierce exchange of fire. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists.
