Haridwar. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Haridwar today. He will arrive at Jolly Grant Airport at 12:15 p.m., where Chief Minister Dhami will receive him. He will then attend the “Jan-Jan ki Sarkar: Chaar Saal Bemisal” program in Haridwar at 12:45 p.m.
Bairagi Camp will address the public meeting
The Union Home Minister will visit a special exhibition at Bairagi Camp in Haridwar, showcasing the state government’s development work and key decisions. He will also visit other exhibits and address a public meeting. In addition to Shah and Dhami, several state government ministers, MPs, MLAs, public representatives, and senior officials will also be present at the event.
A glimpse of Uttarakhand’s development journey at the exhibition
The exhibition is reported to highlight efforts made toward good governance, transparency, and strengthening civic amenities in the state. Visual displays, photographs, models, and informative panels prepared by various departments will provide a glimpse of the state’s transformation and development over the years, allowing the public to understand Uttarakhand’s development journey closely.
In this context, a state-level exhibition on the topic of “Code of Justice” is being organized at Bairagi Camp from March 7th to 9th, 2026. This exhibition is being organized to raise public awareness about the effective implementation of the new criminal laws enacted by the Government of India: the Indian Code of Justice, the Indian Civil Defense Code, and the Indian Evidence Act.
