The grand-nephew of NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, Rohit Pawar, also paid a visit to the home of Captain Shambhavi Pathak who lost her life in the tragic plane accident in Baramati and made the other former deputy chief minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar. In the visit, Rohit Pawar honored the memory of the young pilot and offered his most sincere condolences to her family who lost their beloved.
The five victims of the aviation accident on January 28 included Captain Shambhavi Pathak who was also murdered. She had been the First Officer on the flight that was heading between Mumbai and Baramati and crashed in the morning. The plane was a Bombardier Aerospace Learjet 45 (VT-SSK), which she was co-piloting together with Captain Sumit Kapoor when the plane collided.
Rohit Pawar, a distant cousin of Ajit Pawar also went to Delhi to pay a personal visit to the family of Pathak and console them in the face of their loss. Talking about the visit as an effort to comfort her he admitted the huge sorrow of her parents.
On Monday, Rohit Pawar posted X and stated that he had visited the Home of Captain Pathak in Delhi to wish him condolence and ask about her family welfare. He observed that her father was a member of the army, the mother was an academic, and the family is in a very painful stage after the sudden loss.
With her forcible entry into the world of the kind of aviation life Captain Pathak was leading and promising, Rohit Pawar remarked that her untimely demise was a big loss even to the family and also to the nation. He repeated his support of the bereaved family and extended his sincere best to the family at this trying time.
