Following a deadly attack by insurgent fighters in Balochistan, the Pakistani army has launched a massacre against Balochs. Security forces in the province have launched a massive counter-offensive against the militants, killing 145 Balochs so far. However, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has denied these claims. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has given this information. Earlier on Saturday morning, Baloch fighters had simultaneously attacked 14 cities of Balochistan. Pakistani officials have said that around 50 people, including 17 security personnel, were killed in these attacks.

Following deadly BLA attacks in Balochistan, the Pakistani Army has launched a major operation. The counter-offensive claims to have killed 145 Baloch militants so far. Around 50 people, including 17 security personnel, have been killed.

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a separatist armed group fighting for Balochistan’s independence, has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Pakistan’s junior interior minister, Talal Chaudhry, told Reuters news agency that the attackers, dressed as civilians, entered hospitals, schools, banks, and markets on Saturday and opened fire.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said 17 security personnel and 31 civilians were killed in the attacks. He said, “We have the bodies of 145 killed militants, some of whom are Afghan civilians.” He added that the militants wanted to take hostages but were unable to reach the city center.

Bugti accused India and Afghanistan of supporting the attackers and said that senior BLA leaders were operating from Afghan territory. Bugti cited the 2020 Doha Agreement, saying the Afghan Taliban had promised not to allow Afghan soil to be used to attack others, but unfortunately, Afghan soil is still being used against Pakistan.
