CG Morning News: CM Sai will visit Korba and Surguja today. He will leave for Korba at 12 noon and attend a program in the village of Risthi. At 2:25 pm, CM Sai will arrive in Ambikapur, where he will participate in a program at Mata Rajmohini Devi Bhawan. He will then return to Raipur at 5:30 pm.
World Wetlands Day will be celebrated in the state today.
World Wetlands Day will be celebrated in the state on Monday. This year’s theme is “Wetlands and Traditional Knowledge Celebrating Cultural Heritage.” Its aim is to highlight the cultural traditions and traditional knowledge of local communities associated with wetlands. The Chhattisgarh State Wetlands Authority will organize bird walks, painting and poster competitions for school students, and workshops for wetland friends and stakeholders in all forest divisions of the state. The authority has so far notified 44 major wetlands in the state.
