Jalandhar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Jalandhar on February 1st. He will arrive at Dera Sachkhand Ballan at around 4:30 pm. He will attend a program organized there on the occasion of Shri Guru Ravidas Jayanti and seek blessings from the throne holder Sant Niranjan Das Ji. The Prime Minister’s arrival has brought joy to BJP leaders and workers. Grand preparations have been made for his visit.
Special security arrangements have been made in view of Prime Minister Modi’s visit. State-level leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party have taken charge of the preparations. Central security agencies are also on full alert. Punjab Police Director General Gaurav Yadav, Special DGPs Ram Singh, Rajpal Sandhu, and Sukhchain Singh Gill, along with the district Deputy Commissioner and Police Commissioner, are also visiting Dera Sachkhand Ballan to review the security arrangements. The DGP has given clear instructions to the officers that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.
Modi to arrive in the afternoon
According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Adampur Airport on Sunday afternoon. From there, he will travel by helicopter to Dera Sachkhand Ballan. During the event, he will address the gathering for approximately 10 minutes. Following this, the Prime Minister will meet with some Dera officials and BJP leaders. He will then return to Adampur Airport by helicopter and depart for Delhi.
