In January 2026, the most recent publication of records associated with the deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein, provided by the US Department of Justice, has renewed attention on the fact that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates was once connected to Epstein. The revelations occurred as a result of the Epstein Files Transparency Act that required publication of close to three million pages of documents, as well as thousands of photos and videos.
One of the documents attracting some interest is a collection of emails that Epstein used to send to himself in 2013. These are e-mails with unproven and disputable information regarding the personal life of Bill Gates. The representatives of Gates have vehemently denied the accusations claiming them to be ridiculous and entirely absurd.
The emails, written around July 2013, seem to have been authored like one of the former science advisors of Gates, Boris Nikolic, but then never mailed. The records appear in the form of unfinished letters and contain the elements of emotional pressure and the threats. In one of the drafts, Epstein accuses Gates of having sex with Slavic girls and then being infected with a sexually transmitted disease. The email also asserts that Gates had requested antibiotics that could be secretly administered to his then-wife, Melinda French Gates, to cover-up the infection.
Another draft claims that Epstein was requested to delete emails that mentioned the alleged STD, medicine requests, and other direct information. Epstein as well states that Nikolic assisted Gates in acquiring drugs to cope with the aftermath of these so-called encounters and was requested to take part in activities that Epstein said were between morally inappropriate and possibly criminal.
Throughout the records, Epstein describes himself as possessing damaging information that can be leveraged, especially in case of a public divorce that would be bad PR to Gates. No external sources confirm what Epstein is saying and Gates has disavowed it.
