Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti: Today, the 129th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country. The central government annually celebrates Netaji’s birth anniversary as Parakram Diwas, an event announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2021. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya paid tribute to him.
CM Yogi extended his best wishes
CM Yogi wrote on his X handle that a true son of Mother India, the originator of the slogan “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom,” Netaji gave a new direction to the freedom movement by establishing the Azad Hind Fauj. His bravery, valor, and selfless devotion to Mother India are admirable. On the birth anniversary of such a great nationalist, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, I pay my humble tribute to him and extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on “Parakram Diwas.”
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated that commemorating Netaji today is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to prioritizing national interests, fostering unity as our greatest strength, and working wholeheartedly to make India self-reliant, strong, and secure. Netaji’s inspiration continues to inspire every Indian today: protecting freedom is as sacred as achieving it. We pay our heartfelt tributes to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary.
