Bhopal. Important guidelines have been issued for the 10th and 12th board exams in Madhya Pradesh. Mass cheating will result in the entire exam center’s exam being canceled. Electronic devices will be completely banned during the exam. Candidates caught cheating face a penalty of up to three years in prison or a fine of 5,000 rupees. Anyone found helping students will also face a three-year jail term.
The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, and any other electronic medium will be strictly prohibited. To this end, special security and surveillance arrangements will be made at the exam centers.
Board Instructs Schools To Educate Candidates
The MP Board has instructed all schools and examination centers to educate candidates about the importance of avoiding cheating and adhering to exam rules. Any form of indiscipline will not be tolerated during the exam. Board officials also stated that additional surveillance personnel and cameras will be deployed to maintain peace and discipline during the exam. Both students and teachers must understand its importance and ensure a fair and peaceful conduct of the exam.
This measure aims to promote exam integrity and maintain discipline within the education system. The board has appealed to students, parents, and school administrations to follow all rules and cooperate in ensuring the successful conduct of the exams.
The MP Board Class 10 exams will be conducted from February 13 to March 6, 2026. The Class 12 exams will be held from February 10 to March 7, 2026. All exams will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
