Dhurandhar has played a remarkable box office game in only 17 days since its release and has become the highest grossing Hindi film of 2025 to date. The Ranveer Singh film has easily surpassed the ₹800 crore mark around the globe with very little trouble and has become one of the biggest business epicenter and has outperformed Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava to emerge as the leader.
The film directed by Aditya Dhar had a strong third weekend in the domestic markets with a net collection of more than 95 crore in India in three days. This blaze results in Dhurandhar recording total domestic earnings of ₹555.75 crore net which translates to about ₹666.75 crore after 17 days.
The international performance of the film has been also impressive. Dhurandhar has collected nearly 20 million dollars out of the foreign markets, according to trade analysts, which is a sharp increase in foreign collections in the last ten days. Along with its Indian collections, the film has grossed an eye-opening ₹845 crore globally.
It is also worth noting that Dhurandhar beat Hollywood release Avatar: Fire and Ash in a direct box office confrontation in India, which solidifies it even more as a mass appeal and highly received movie.
A gross of ₹845 crore worldwide, Dhurandhar is the highest grossing Hindi movie released in the year 2025 in the world beating Chhaava which ended its box office journey earlier this year with a gross of ₹807 crore. The movie is also on the verge of achieving another feat because it is out to beat Rishab Shetty Kantara, the greatest grossing Indian film of the year to date with 852 crores at the global box office.
Trade analysts feel that Dhurandhar will exceed the 900 crore mark in the next one week. Assuming that its momentum persists, the film should hit the coveted ₹1000 crore club before the New Year, and this will establish it as one of the largest blockbusters in Indian cinema.
