Bangladesh Violence: Violence has spread across Bangladesh after Osman Hadi, the opposition leader of Sheikh Hasina, died during treatment on Thursday night. Bangladesh, including the capital Dhaka, is engulfed in the fire of violence. Under the pretext of the death of Osman Hadi, the main leader of the ‘July Conflict’ and the opposition leader of Sheikh Hasina, fundamentalists are targeting Hindus. In Bhaluka, Bangladesh, late on Thursday night, fundamentalists killed a Hindu youth and hanged his body from a tree and set it on fire. No case has been registered in this incident yet.

A group of people beat a Hindu youth to death after accusing him of insulting the religion. The youth, identified as CP Chandra, was stripped naked and hanged. His body was later tied to a pole and set on fire. Police said the incident occurred in Bhaluka on Thursday night. Police have identified the deceased youth as Dipu Chandra Das. Officials initially learned that he worked at a local textile factory and rented a room in the area.

“We express deep condemnation over the incident in Mymensingh in which a Hindu man was beaten to death. There is no place for such violence in the new Bangladesh. No one involved in this brutal crime will be spared,” the administration said in a statement.

Bangladesh police and security forces had failed to take timely action against protestors over the last few days, including in Chittagong on Thursday, and only stepped in after they got close to the missions, they said.
