Bijapur: An IED blast occurred during a search operation by security forces in a Naxal-affected area of Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh. Two CoBRA personnel were injured in the blast. They were immediately evacuated and shifted to Raipur for better treatment.

According to reports, on December 14th, a joint team of the DRG, Special Task Force (STF), and the Cobra Force, under the jurisdiction of the Farsgarh police station, embarked on an anti-Naxal operation in the Pillur-Kandlaparthi area. During the operation, an IED planted along the route exploded, resulting in minor injuries to two Cobra soldiers.
