At least 250 IndiGo flights were cancelled on Thursday as chaos continued at major airports across India, with the carrier struggling to adapt to stringent new crew rostering rules. Earlier on Wednesday, this leading airline cancelled at least 150 flights and announced that it had initiated “calibrated adjustments” to its schedules for the next 48 hours.

As many as 33 outbound Indigo flights are expected to be cancelled from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport(RGIA) in Hyderabad. Similarly, 35 incoming flights are also likely to be cancelled during the day, reports said.

The situation is no different at other airports in the country. Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru said 73 IndiGo flights had been cancelled on December 4. At least 30 IndiGo departures (both domestic and international) were cancelled at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) since morning.
