Korba: Amidst preparations for paddy procurement in the Kharif marketing year 2025-26, the government had given a big relief to the farmers by extending the registration date, for which today is the last day. In which additional time has been provided for new registration, carry forward, and amendment in crop area in the Unified Farmers Portal.

This decision has brought relief to all those farmers whose registration was left incomplete for some reason. Those whose documents need correction can get themselves registered today by visiting the Public Service Center and related centers. The government has provided facilities for those farmers whose registration could not be completed due to certain reasons.

After the start of paddy procurement, the Unified Farmer Portal was closed on October 31st. However, due to the fact that some farmers were left out of the registration process, this facility has been extended from November 19th to 25th, with today being the last day. The extension of the registration date has brought significant relief and benefits to farmers.

This will particularly benefit farmers in submerged areas, forest leaseholders, and other farmers who were previously unregistered. It is noteworthy that a large number of farmers were unable to register on time for various reasons.
